Linda Atwater
Ghanaian Specialist
Linda began her passionate connection to international development as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana, 2001. There she met Kirstin Green and together they established strong connections to the villages in northern, rural Ghana. Linda continues to return yearly working on various community development projects and enjoying the loving bonds of her Ghanaian family. She maintains a home there and manages the Ghana Scholarship Fund which currently supports over 30 orphaned and needy students from the Tongo villages. She is excited to be joining Kirstin and Ryan through Community Wings as a platform for growth, networking, and sustainability.

Linda lives in Portland, Oregon where she is a grandmother, teaches art and pre-school, and enjoys backpacking, cycling, kayaking and skiing.
